The Telesales Clerk works as part of a sales team in a contact centre and needs to be able to facilitate inbound and outbound customer calls.

During these calls, they need to take orders, advise alternatives, communicate problems and up-sell. They operate as a support to fields sales representatives by setting appointments or qualifying prospects. An effective telesales clerk builds repeat sales through strong customer relationships by focusing on customers' wants and needs.
