Qualifications:
  • Degree (Honours / Masters / PHD) in Statistics, Computer Science, Engineer or Mathematics or a combination of these
  • Relevant data science certification such as Python, Microsoft, AWS, Hadoop, Big Data, Machine Learning or Cloud Infrastructure

Requirements:
  • Degree is not negotiable
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in data science related projects

  • Support the data and analytics teams in creating and enabling data driven measurements, insights, monitoring and decision support
  • Applying data science to inform and optimize decision making and build automated predictive and prescriptive analytics solutions
  • Assist with research on trends
  • Develop conceptual designs
  • Pre-processing of data such as data manipulation, transformation, normalization, standardization and visualization
  • Review current data analytics solutions
  • Identify and implement data mining / statistics / machine learning techniques
  • Validate and test models
  • Review and update data science policies
