They specialise in providing exceptional services for Meetings and Incentives, Individual Travel, and Leisure Group.

Our client's extensive experience in handling incentives allows them to treat each project, whether it's a honeymoon itinerary or an incentive group, with the same level of attention to detail and immaculate management from start to finish.


Job Type:
Hybrid | Cape Town

Requirements:

Fluency in German (Written & Spoken)
Diploma or degree in Tourism, Hotel Management or Events Management
Experience with the understanding of the German Market and Culture
At least 5 years working experience within the travel industry
Extensive Travel and Tourism Knowledge of South Africa, Botswana, Zambia, Victoria Falls and Mozambique
Advanced knowledge of Word, Excel, Power point

Knowledge of the Travel writing programmes: WETU and Tourplan an advantage
Experience in the designing, planning and execution of FIT Travel Programmes

Responsibilities:

To manage and oversee daily workflow projects of a team of FIT Sales Consultants
Offer assistance and guidance to team with proposals, product, costings
Allocate booking requests to Consultants
Manage Team workload efficiently
Manage Teams proposal response time and assist where necessary
Update, list and send to the Director with relevant comments by the end of day

Maintain procedures implemented:
proposal follow ups / spot checks on proposals.
Manage and Address Team and staff issues; including leave, sick leave etc
Attend bi-weekly Team Leaders Meeting.

Ensure that the out of office and overtime monthly employee template are updated by no later than the last day of each month and saved under the relevant month.

Ensure that the monthly Statistics of Team Sales are reported in the relevant template by no later than the last day of the month
Design and preparation of travel itineraries in South Africa, Botswana, Zambia, Victoria Falls and Mozambique for FIT Clients
Clear, concise and effective communication with Clients, Management and Team
Encourage clients to send their enquiries to enable the opportunity to quote a suitable programme thus increasing tourism into Namibia, Botswana and Zimbabwe
On confirmation, makes all bookings, plan and execution of travel programmes
Contract suppliers and liaise with them during the planning stages and execution of the itinerary
