MISSION STATEMENT:


The role of a B2B Marketing Specialist is critical in enabling Trade Shield to build its market presence and client base.

You will be required to combine your experience and skills with Trade Shield's unique capabilities to drive inbound interest and outbound efficiencies to ensure we interact at the right levels with our target market.

You will work closely with our sales team, especially our scouts who set the appointments for our hunters. Your role will be to use whatever tools and data are available to drive their success.

This is not limited to any particular channel - you will be expected to give feedback and direction to our sales and marketing strategy.


Furthermore, you will be responsible for coordinating content at Trade Shield that will include content not specifically related to sales.

It will include all content generated in the business that needs to be shared, internally or externally.

The importance of this role in the success of the business cannot be overstated, requiring excellence, dedication, and ambition.

In addition to your membership in a crack sales team, you will also be expected to contribute to the Trade Shield story, contributing your experience and ideas to the rest of the team to ensure that we continue to develop world-class solutions and excel at meeting our clients' needs today and in the future.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Inbound lead generation (50%)
  • Develop and implement effective B2B marketing strategies to generate leads and drive revenue growth. Your primary responsibility will be to support our scouts team in targeting and setting up appointments with potential customers
  • Marketing management and coordination (15%)
  • Content Management (20%)
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of our products, services, and target audience to create effective marketing messaging including sales, marketing, recruitment and training content.
  • Strategic Support (15%)
  • Analyze and report on marketing campaign performance to improve future marketing efforts. Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to execute marketing initiatives and meet business objectives. Support the executive team where required.
  • Admin and Internal Meetings (5%)
  • Manage external suppliers and advisors
  • Participate in sales meetings, key marketing events, innovation meetings and training sessions

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, COMPETENCIES & EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field
  • Minimum of 35 years of experience in B2B marketing*, preferably in a tech or software company
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to use data to drive decisionmaking
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling marketing messaging
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Experience with marketing automation software and CRM systems preferred
