What will you be doing?

Responsibilities:

  • Drive widespread usage of the Circana platform within the client organisation (and supplier base):
  • Create and deliver high quality insights and recommendations to enable proactive client business decisions and sound strategic and tactical planning
  • Drive stakeholder adoption, usage and engagement
  • Collaborate with Circana's business development team to identify and secure supplier opportunities for the client
  • Take lead responsibility for the smooth running of the platform and deliverables
  • Liaise with internal Circana business units to ensure solution and reporting enhancements and technical developments are timeously rolled out
  • Deliver actionable and proactive insight to the client
  • Rooted in an indepth understanding of the industry and client's business
  • Identify key strategic priorities, ways of working, business operations to preempt requirements and deliver proactive insight.
  • Participate in training workshops
  • Utilize data analytics tools and reports to monitor and measure client KPIs
  • Provide insights and recommendations to drive sales and enhance the client's retail performance.
  • Collaborate with Retailer stakeholders
  • Ensure all data (POS, loyalty and supply chain) becomes the cornerstone for all appropriate analytical and business processes and decisions
  • Develop & Support the Circana team to deliver maximum value via the highest quality insights and reporting as requested by key stakeholders across insight, category and commercial buying teams primarily focused on the platform but also using other Circana analytics tools

To Deliver on these Key Responsibilities your will need

  • Balance engagement, content and delivery appropriate to multiple, multilevel, central and regional client stakeholders
  • Cut through loyalty/customer and supply chain data to identify to what is most important to the client.
  • Lead the coordination, execution and analysis of findings, recommending potential actions and highlighting additional opportunities.
  • Drive the agenda to deliver high quality ongoing analytic and adhoc requests working with juniors in the team and collaborate with peers.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to deliver value using data and insight
  • Support the business agenda for all client stakeholders across Trading, Insight, Business Engagement, Supply Chain and Category/Ranging.
  • Utilise creativity in identifying and enhancing techniques and processes.
  • Fully understand Circana solutions to work consultatively with the client to meet their needs, driving additional services sell in.
  • Develop and leverage strong, collaborative relationships with client and internal stakeholders.
  • Act as a liaison between the client and internal Circana departments.
  • First point of contact for the client on daytoday issues in relation to the platform and client understanding.
  • Coach and develop direct/team reports, with the ability to provide constructive feedback with a focus on improving skills and best practice use of market measurement data.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary Education with 8+ years of proven insight and management experience within FMCG or Retail
  • Strong track record interpreting and translating complex data into actionable insights, able to deliver the 'so what'.
  • Knowledgeable of current and future Retail industry trends and challenges.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, solid professional presence and track record in account leadership.
  • Able to cultivate and leverage mutually beneficial relationships and networks, both internally and externally.
  • Demonstrates resilience, tenacity and sound judgement in dealing with business and corporate challenges.
  • Exceptional organisational management, attention to detail, problem solving and process skills
  • Able to appropriately partner to manage client expectations.
  • Ability to lead and drive virtual and diverse teams, managing workflow and resource capacity.
  • Strong commercial acumen
  • Able to articulate complex technical knowledge of Circana solutions in a simple impactful way
  • Administrative accountability: correctly tracks time and expenses using Circana systems, adheres to corporate policies, and meets deadlines.
  • Highly proficient Excel, PowerPoint and Word skills.
  • Comfortable learning and adopting Circana technologies to work with large and complex datasets.
