Key Responsibilities:

  • Enters routine journal entries and bank transactions
  • Enters AR payments and credit card transactions if needed
  • Performs monthend closing and reconciliation
  • Reconciles, investigates, corrects, and adjusts accounting information
  • Performs bank reconciliation
  • Supports department peers as needed

CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Combinations of Training and Experience
  • 2 years of accrual basis accounting working experiences including accounts receivable, journal entries, monthend closing and reconciliation, and bank reconciliation.
  • Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this position
  • Strong oral and written communication skills; ability to interact within all levels of the organization
  • Demonstrates ability to successfully plan, organize and manage projects
  • Detailoriented, excellent proofreading and editing skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced environment, organized, able to prioritize and work independently
  • Exceptionally selfmotivated and directed

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
This job operates in a professional office environment.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be largely sedentary and will be required to sit/stand for long periods while using a computer and telephone headset.
