We are in search of a Senior Project Manager to be part of our team.

If you're a pro at project management, your role in driving project success is vital for the overall growth and efficiency of our organization. Your ability to manage resources, timelines, and risks effectively will lead to delivering top-notch results that are in line with business goals and stakeholder expectations.

What you'll be responsible for:

  • Overseeing Project Management: Leading and overseeing the entire lifecycle of multiple projects to ensure on-time delivery and desired quality outcomes.
  • Managing Benefits: Keeping the Business Case ROI up to date and relevant, forecasting and tracking benefits, and aligning epic delivery with company OKRs.
  • Guiding the Team: Providing leadership, motivation, and support to cross-functional teams to ensure collaboration and achieve epics effectively.
  • Engaging with Stakeholders: Building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders, understanding and managing their needs and expectations.
  • Handling Budgets: Managing project budgets, forecasting accurately, tracking expenses, and ensuring efficient use of allocated funds.
  • Dealing with Risks: Identifying potential risks and developing strategies to mitigate them for successful project completion.
  • Ensuring Quality: Implementing and overseeing quality control measures to ensure high-quality outcomes.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Creating high-quality reports, documents, and presentations for relevant meetings and stakeholders.
  • Managing Dependencies: Identifying and managing dependencies and inter-dependencies between projects.
  • Driving Continuous Improvement: Evaluating project effectiveness, identifying areas for enhancement, and implementing improvements to optimize outcomes.
  • Managing Capacity: Ensuring sufficient capacity for required Epic delivery.
  • Dealing with Vendors: Possibly managing 3rd party vendors and their service delivery and standards.
  • Operational Business Readiness: Ensuring all program organizational elements are addressed, integrated, and transferred to the relevant Business Owner.

Your skills and experience:

  • Leadership Experience: Over 3 years of experience in leading a medium to large team.
  • Project Management Experience: Over 5 years of experience in Project Management.
  • Agile Environment Experience: Over 3 years of experience in an Agile or SAFe environment.
  • Proficiency in Traditional and Agile Tools: Familiarity with both traditional and agile project management tools and frameworks.
  • Effective Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to Comprehend Information: Skilled in understanding information from verbal and written communication.
  • Adaptability: Capable of working in a high-pressure and ambiguous environment.
  • Team Culture Building: Able to establish and maintain a healthy, collaborative, and productive team culture.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional skills in building relationships and fostering collaboration across teams.
  • Leadership Abilities: Strong leadership and team management skills to motivate teams towards common goals.
  • Flexibility: Ability to adapt to changing priorities and excel in a dynamic environment.

Required Qualifications:

  • Project Management Certification.
  • Agile Certification.

Additional Information:

  • Contract Position for 12 Months.
  • Location: Cape Town.
  • Work Model: Hybrid (2 days onsite, 3 days remote).
