As Workshop Foreman you will be responsible for overseeing daily activities within the workshop to ensure efficiency, productivity and quality control.

Your role will be critical in maintaining a well-organized and smoothly functioning workshop environment.

You will be working hand in hand with the Production Manager, managing a team, optimizing workflows, and ensuring that projects are completed up to standard, on time and within budget.


Responsibilities:

  • Quality control
  • To implement efficient workflow processes
  • Enforce safety protocols and standards within the workshop
  • Ensure timely completion of projects and assignments
  • Be involved in the building and fitment process
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure work meets the highest standards
  • Address and resolve any quality issues promptly
  • Implement preventative measures to avoid recurring problems

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in workshop or operations management
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Familiarity with workshop equipment and processes
  • Understanding of quality control and safety standards
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Detailoriented with a focus on efficiency
  • Proven ability to analyze and solve operational challenges
  • Strategic thinker with a proactive approach
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems is a plus

Salary:
R15, R20,000.00 per month
