As the leading medical recruitment agency in South Africa, our client has an exciting opportunity for a Neurophysiologist based in Olifantsfontein, Centurion, South Africa.

The Neurophysiologist is to deliver the diagnosis, treatment, and management of patients with neurological disorders.

Working within our state-of-the-art facility and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, you will conduct specialized neurophysiological tests, interpret results, and provide expert insights to support patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Performing tests on patients
• Revising results of the tests.
• Administration
• Perform and interpret neurophysiological tests including electroencephalography (EEG), nerve conduction studies (NCS), electromyography (EMG), and evoked potentials.
• Provide intraoperative neurophysiological monitoring (IONM) support during neurosurgical procedures to safeguard neural integrity and optimize surgical outcomes.
• Maintain accurate patient records, documenting test results, observations, and treatment plans in accordance with regulatory standards and best practices.
• Stay abreast of advancements in neurophysiology research, techniques, and technologies, and incorporate new knowledge into clinical practice.
• Participate in multidisciplinary case conferences, educational programs, and quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care delivery and outcomes.
• Demonstrate professionalism, empathy, and compassion in all interactions with patients, families, and colleagues

Requirements:

• Min years of experience 3 years
• Qualified in Neurophysiology Technology, Clinical Neurophysiology, or related field.
• Registered with HPCSA
• Ability to speak Afrikaans and Tswana (advantageous)
