Introduction
Our manufcaturing client in Durban is looking for a Quality Controller Assistant to join their quality team.

Duties & Responsibilities
Assisting Quality HOD with Audits.

Gauge setting and adjusting for operators / setters according to drawing specs.

Read, understand and interpret drawings.

Use quality measurement tools:
Vernier; concentricity gauge; hommel contour tester; shadow graph and surface tester.

Assist with QC Inspector duties, which includes, patrol inspections and First-Off Audits (when needed).

Perform daily checks on the Final Inspection department.

Be able to attend to call-outs at the Final Inspection department.

Complete all relevant documentation before end of shift.

Desired Experience & Qualification
Matric

Experience in similar position within a manufacturing environment.
