Responsibilities:

Prepare and handstretch dough to create the perfect pizza base, ensuring consistency in size and thickness.
Create and customize pizza toppings according to customer preferences, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas in different styles, using traditional techniques and modern equipment.
Monitor and adjust oven temperatures to ensure pizzas are cooked to perfection and have a crispy crust.
Maintain a clean and organized workstation, following strict food safety and sanitation guidelines.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient food preparation.
Knowledgeable about ingredient quality, freshness, and seasonality, ensuring the use of the highest quality ingredients.
Uphold proper portion control and minimize waste through proper production planning and inventory management.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain proper hygiene practices at all times.

Pizza chef required skills

Proven experience as a Pizza Cook or similar role, with a deep understanding of pizzamaking techniques and the ability to consistently create highquality pizzas.
Strong knowledge of dough preparation, sauce making, and pizza assembly, including the ability to handstretch dough and create visually appealing pizza presentations.
Proficiency in working with a variety of pizza ovens and equipment, ensuring optimal baking conditions.
Excellent attention to detail to ensure each pizza is accurately prepared according to customer specifications.
Strong time management skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fastpaced kitchen environment.
Ability to work collaboratively with a team and communicate effectively to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines, ensuring compliance with all regulations.

Required qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Formal culinary training or relevant certification is preferred.
Proven experience as a Pizza Cook or similar role in a fastpaced restaurant environment.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects, such as pizza trays or bags of ingredients.
Strong customer service skills and the ability to handle customer inquiries and special requests in a professional and friendly manner.
