QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE

  • Relevant IT / Business Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Certification in SAP PP/MM
  • SAP S4/Hana Certification, e.g IBP

ESSENTIAL SKILLS

  • Good working knowledge (Advanced) of SAP IBP/APO/PP/MM customizing: setting up /customizing of Process Chains, batch job variants, Core interface integration models, custom tables and master data chains to suit specific markets within ATLAS and WIT
  • Supply Chain planning tools and methodologies
  • Working experience of S4/Hana implementation
  • Expert knowledge of Demand Planning module
  • Expert/Working understanding of the Material Planning process, i.e., MRP replenishment, stock ordering, inventory management, Purchase requisition/order creation and order proposal generation and interfacing to planning and ordering tools
  • Expert knowledge of the core interfaces and operational activities i.e., housekeeping, daily monitoring, batch job monitoring and queue monitoring.
  • Expert trouble shooting skill to handle Incidents and user tickets within the Business SLA.
  • JIRA and Confluence, especially Xray test suite.

ADVANTAGEOUS SKILLS

  • Supply chain planning tools e.g IBP
  • ABAP debugging beneficial (Workbench related knowledge of new development/enhancements).
  • Working understanding of SAP master data objects
  • S4/Hana implementation/migration
  • Working understanding of inbound and outbound interfaces and batch jobs that are responsible for creating SD / MM documents relating to the Order to cash process.
  • MS Office tools (Excel, Word & PowerPoint).
  • Working knowledge of the supply chain processes, especially around purchasing, imports, materials planning, forecasting and distribution.

  • Take consultative approach to challenge customers requested solution design, should a better alternative exist.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively (verbally and written) with both technical and nontechnical colleagues/users.
  • Strong Presentation skills.
  • Good time management and organisational skills.

  • Willingness to engage with foreign customers and be sensitive to possible language barriers and culture differences.
  • Willingness and ability to work on weekends and public holidays on implementation and operations (IT Support) related tasks.
  • Ability to work as part of an agile team, inter dependant and independently to submit deliverables on time and in excellent quality.
  • Proactive and take personal initiative when appropriate selfstarter.
  • Above board work ethics this is of utmost importance.
  • Flexibility to take up different tasks in the project.
  • Ability and willingness to coach and give training to fellow colleagues and users when required.

  • Willing and able to travel extensively, for up to 2 weeks at a time (international).

ROLE:

  • Understand the business requirements, preparing AS-IS, and TO-BE documents and get signoff from users for functional and/or technical design document(s).
  • Proactively propose solutions to improve the support of (new) business processes.
  • Executing the required changes through configuration.
  • Interact with consultants of other modules for Integration requirements.
  • Preparing test data and documentation, Conducting Unit tests, Regression tests and System Integration security tests including recording of results.
  • Preparing User manuals and conducting training to business process owners.
  • Planning of go live milestones, planning, preparation and execution of migration, cutover and Go-Live as well as post Go-Live support activities.
  • Support the troubleshooting, resolving and closing of Production Support tickets within defined SLAs (Service Level Agreements).
  • User interface transactional solutions.
  • Analyse and scope Enduser authorisation roles.
  • Update and maintain documentation as an existing systems functionality is changed.
  • Execution according to the Agile Methodology and attending of all team meetings, including Standups, Sprint Review, Sprint Retrospectives, Sprint Planning meetings etc.
  • Daily use of the Agile Tool Chain, as per the updates required by the respective feature team(s).
