Responsibilities:

  • Managing and supervising all construction activities on site
  • Planning and scheduling project timelines and ensuring that they are met
  • Ensuring that all work is carried out according to specifications and safety standards
  • Coordinating with subcontractors and suppliers
  • Managing and supervising site personnel
  • Maintaining records of site activities, progress and costs
  • Ensuring that all necessary equipment and materials are available on site
  • Reporting to senior management on project progress and issues

Requirements:_

  • At least 5 years of experience in civil construction.
  • Experience in Building, construction, Finishings
  • Knowledge of construction techniques, materials and equipment
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication and problemsolving skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
  • Understanding of health and safety regulations and compliance
  • Own Vehicle required, and needs to get to and from site on own

Job Type:
Contract

Contract length: 6 months

Salary:
R9, R12,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Edenvale, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

- civil construction (preferred)
- concrete work (preferred)
- paint/plaster/tile (preferred)

License/Certification:
- code 8 and your own vehicle (preferred)
