We are looking for a Make-up Artist with a love for fashion and a creative flair to join our Studio Team on a 6 month Internship.

This is the ideal opportunity for a newly qualified make-up artist to gain experience in a professional, fun and dynamic eCommerce fashion environment

Key Performance Areas and Responsibilities:

  • Keeping up to date with trends in the fashion / makeup industry;
  • Assisting in managing preparation for styling in shoots;
  • Managing accessories (and all other products worn by model so as to compliment the product being shot) and ensuring that it is ready for shooting;
  • Manage garments for the next day shoot;
  • Plan the order in which the garments will be shot;
  • Quality check the garments before the shoot;
  • Communicate styling ideas with photographer before the shoot;
  • Styling models for shoot;
  • Manage wrapping up garments after the shoot:
  • Fold and send back garments to warehouse;
  • Take garments that is in need of colour correcting to the photoshop department;
  • Manage safekeeping of products after shoots.

Education, knowledge and experience required:

  • Grade 12 (Senior Certificate high school qualification) / RPL at same level.
  • Makeup qualification is essential for this position.
  • Excellent Team Player.
  • Detail consciousness.
  • A good understanding of the South African fashion market.
  • A passion for fashion related products and creative ability for new innovations.
  • Ability to work under tight time constraints.
