We are looking for an experienced, full-time
Payments Analyst to join our global Risk Team


You will be part of our Risk Team covering the DACH market and will directly report to the Head of Risk Germany.

The team contributes actively to the business expansion in the DACH market being responsible for strategic projects in the areas of fraud, compliance, and payment processing.


Responsibilities:

  • Ensure payment processing excellence by analyzing regularly transactional history for internal purposes as well as for the merchants
  • Detect abnormalities in the processing of transactions and follow up on those with the respective internal teams
  • Assist our merchants in reviewing their traffic regularly and validating their transactional data to ensure the best possible acceptance ratio
  • Work closely with our Data Analyst to develop monitoring measures to spot irregularities in the processing of transactions
  • Monitor payment processing after merchant migrations and the implementation of new regulations and policies

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience working in a similar position in the FinTech or banking industry
  • Excellent language skills in both English and German
  • Experience with payment data and understanding the basis of the technical payment landscape (transaction flows, payment providers, processors, payment methods) would be considered an advantage
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel
  • You are comfortable working in a highly driven, international team with a substantial degree of autonomy in a remote role.
  • Problemsolving, customeroriented, and innovative attitude
  • Ability to interpret and analyze large quantities of transactional data; attention to detail is essential
  • Experience with additional data analytics tools is a plus
