BTT is currently recruiting for three (3) Safety Watchers to join the Richards Bay SHEP Department.
The main purpose of the job is to inspect and monitor hazardous work on the sites as well as take appropriate action to mitigate risks.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
Effective communication and leadership skills
Ability to deal with differences/conflict.
Knowledge of relevant legislation
Knowledge and application of firefighting practices, methods and procedures
Knowledge of the storage, handling and the usage of hazardous materials fire prevention practices
High level of professionalism
