How you'll role

What you'll do

  • Ensure all content is clear, concise, and free of errors.
  • Keep abreast of new copy concepts and trends within the field and present this thinking to the content team
  • Be encouraged to ask questions and clarify expectations
  • Be an inspirational role model for other team members
  • Problemsolve and produce excellent solutions, when required, to problems that may arise on the project
  • Continuously look at ways to mitigate risk on the project and add insight into ways to improve the running and implementation of projects

What you'll need

  • A Bachelor's degree in any of the following fields: Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Business Administration, English, Public Relations, International Relations, Information Technology, Law, Psychology, or similar
years of work experience as a proofreader/copy editor/junior copywriter or similar role

  • Experience in writing and reviewing different kinds of copy and content
years of work experience in customer service and marketing-related roles

  • A portfolio (beneficial)
Technical skills required

  • An interest (willingness to learn) and competency in technology and relevant software
  • To be analytical with strong research skills
  • Experience using Microsoft Office and Google Suite
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills
  • Good interpersonal skills, i.e. being comfortable working independently and as part of a remote team
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
