Our client, a national construction company, specializing in medium to large scale projects, seeks to employ an experienced and qualified, SACPCMP registered Health and Safety Officer, with experience in the construction sector, for their operation in Cape Town where you will be reporting to the Health and Safety Manager.


KEY REQUIREMENTS TO MEET FOR CONSIDERATION:

  • You will have completed a relevant tertiary qualification ideally with SAMTRAC or related, as well as be registered as a Safety Officer with SACPCMP, and have a minimum of 5+ years of experience as a Health and Safety Officer on large construction projects.
  • You must have previous experience in Construction with a strong emphasis on, safety and risk management, and thoroughly investigating accidents and incidents.
  • You must have knowledge and experience with reporting, Workmen's Compensation, relevant legislations, and understand the admin revolving those key areas
  • MS Office experience is also essential.
  • You must be able to decide and initiate action and be highly motivated, with the ability to operate efficiently in a fastpaced environment.
  • You must be a detailedorientated and organized team player with demonstrated delivery in high pressure situations.
  • You must have a driver's license, a clear criminal and credit record, and reliable transport.
