Position Description:
- An experienced Financial Controller, to undertake all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecasts preparation, as well as development of internal control policies and procedures. Finance Controller responsibilities will also include financial risk management.
- These include the local entities in the following countries: South Africa, DRC, Tanzania (Very Small), Cameroon (Very Small), South Korea, Japan (Dormant for now), New Zealand, Australia, Thailand, Malaysia, the EM group entity and more to come.
Primary Job Function:
- Developing financial strategy, including risk minimisation plans and opportunity forecasting
- Highlevel financial reporting and analysis
- Regular budget consolidation
- Cash flow management
- Improving efficiencies and reducing costs across the business
- Stakeholder management
- Debt management and collection
- Preparing company tax and BAS statements
- Ensuring compliance with statutory law and financial regulations
- Developing financial reviews and providing investment advice
- Payroll processing
- Working closely with management or executive teams to share reports and analysis findings
- Welldeveloped leadership skills
- Mentoring

You will report directly to the managing director and portray your vision and ideas to the executive team. You will also be leading and directing the work of others. Being a manager also involves constant networking and representing the company to outsiders.

Data analysis:The role calls for continual analysis of trends and need to create these where not available. This analysis provides the foundation for strategies. Much of this analysis is done by drilling down into data around customer behaviour and experiences, so you need to be enhancing these techniques and honing them over time.
