HOURS:

 3 HOURS A DAY
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Lesson Planning and Delivery:

  • Assist the children with homework expectations
  • Workload will increase slightly in the new year
  • Create individualised lesson plans (if necessary) tailored to each child's age, needs, and learning style.

Academic Support:

  • Help students with homework assignments and reinforce classroom learning.

Skill Development:

  • Focus on building foundational skills, including literacy, numeracy, problemsolving, and critical thinking.
  • Encourage a growth mindset and a positive attitude toward learning.

Progress Monitoring:

  • Maintain records of student performance and share feedback with parents

Motivation and Engagement:

  • Create a supportive and encouraging learning environment.
  • Use creative and interactive teaching methods to keep children engaged and motivated.

Communication:

  • Communicate regularly with parents to discuss progress, goals, and areas for improvement.

Environment Management:

  • Maintain a safe, organised, and welcoming learning space.
  • Manage behaviour and ensure a positive learning atmosphere.

Curriculum Development:

  • Stay updated on educational trends and best practices for teaching young children.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Early Childhood Education, or a related field (preferred).
  • Experience working with young children in an educational setting.
  • Knowledge of child development and ageappropriate teaching methods.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children.
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the individual needs of each child.
  • Basic understanding of educational technology and online learning platforms
  • Valid Drivers Licence and Own reliable car
