The purpose of the Back of House Staff role, including kitchen staff, bar staff, and assistant bakers, is to support the smooth operation of the establishment's core functions.

They play a crucial role in maintaining the overall operations of the establishment, ensuring high-quality food and beverage service, and contributing to a positive customer experience.


Minimum Requirements:

Knowledge and Experience Requirements:

  • Grade 1
  • Hospitality Qualification
  • Advantageous
  • Experience in relevant field within BOH i.e., cold, hot, pizza, baking, bar etc.
  • Knowledge and practice of food safety and hygiene standards.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Follow all aspects of food and Bev preparation and presentation as set out through brand specific briefings and recipes.
  • Follow and uphold all relevant sectional SOPs.
  • Attendance and active participation in all relevant training sessions on & off site.
  • Training, coaching and guidance to new hires.
  • Control and minimisation of waste.
  • Utilising kitchen equipment in a safe and responsible manner, avoiding and reporting any damage or required maintenance.

  • Flexibility and willingness to work rotating shifts and step in to assist in all sections during busy service.
