The 2024 Winter Content Writer Internship is a four-week programme from 24 June to 19 July 2024. You must be able to commit to the full duration of the internship. It's a paid, in-office programme that may lead to a permanent position, depending on company needs and the right fit.

As part of the team at Electrum, you will gain valuable work experience in a real payments technology environment. You will get to work on real projects where you will:

  • Be involved in the full life cycle of producing content;
  • Create content to be published;
  • Receive professional training and on-the-job learning;
  • Enjoy mentorship from industry experts;
  • Experience an innovative office culture; and
  • Gain access to career growth opportunities.

You will be expected to write:

  • Blogs,
  • Customer emails,
  • Social media posts for new and existing content, and
  • Product user journey explainers;
  • With excellent grammar, attention to detail, and B2B product positioning.

Requirements

Educational qualifications:

  • Currently a student, pursuing a Degree in Business, Science, Marketing, or related fields (Attach latest transcripts)

Relevant experience:

You must have completed at least one research project where the findings have been documented by you. (Attach project)

Skills:

  • Excellent writing and editing skills, with a strong attention to detail,
  • Excellent communication skills,
  • Curiosity, especially about financial technology and payments,
  • Strong information and data analysis skills,
  • Excellent time management and planning skills,
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team,
  • Familiarity with content analytics, social media platforms, and SEO best practices would be a bonus,
  • Knowledge of the payments industry and related trends and topics would be a bonus,
