Description

To plan, build, and implement innovative analytical methodologies, products, and advanced models to provide analytical support and interpret insights for business opportunities and problems with minimal guidance.

Role Purpose

This role is within the FNB Retail Data and Analytics Office. The focus is on developing predictive and prescriptive analytics to comprehend customer behavior and enhance processes and data utilization to improve customer and advisor experiences.

Are you someone who:

  • End to end Model development experience including monitoring and optimizing existing models.
  • Experience with disparate data and identifying unique patterns for deep analysis.
  • Understanding how to work with big data for analytical insights.
  • Strong technical skills and coding proficiency in SAS or SAS Viya.
  • Adaptable and able to translate business requirements into creative solutions.
  • Background in A/B Testing methodology for uplift and KPI improvement.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum Qualification: B Degree in Mathematical Sciences, Statistics, Actuarial Science.
  • Preferred Qualification: Honours Degree.
  • Experience: 3 to 5 years' relevant experience in Data Analytics or CVM Analytics in the Financial Services/Banking sector.
  • End to end Model development experience.
  • Strong coding proficiency in SAS or SAS Viya.
  • Ability to work with Big Data.
  • Prior stakeholder engagement experience.
