Novus Print:

Montague Gardens is currently seeking to appoint an individual with knowledge and experience in an FMCG printing environment to take on the role of Platemaker, to ensure the plates are produced according to the plan using CTP equipment.


Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for Kodak Insite, Pre-Flight, Kodak Prinergy, Proofs, File backup etc.
  • Complete relevant checklists to ensure that the jobs conform to required quality standards.
  • Conduct maintenance on relevant equipment i.e. image setter, process gum units.
  • Ensure that stock levels of plates, chemicals etc., are maintained.
  • Liaise with internal and external clients to ensure that customer standards are met.
  • Accurately record and log all production details on the relevant programs as required.

Educational Requirements:

Grade 12

Experience Requirements:

  • 13 Years work experience in a similar role in an FMCG Pre-Press environment.
