We are looking for a part-time Facilities Allrounder to join our small but passionate team. Our Guesthouse can host up to 10 Guests and includes both local and international guests.


This position could be ideal for students studying in this field who would like to put their learnings into practical use.

Showing initiative and creativity is strongly encouraged.

Role and Responsibilities


You will report directly to the Guesthouse owner and are responsible for taking care of the Guesthouse, our home and outside area incl garden.

(gardening not necessary).

Competence in the following is expected:
general fixing and mending, minor renovation and improvement work. Dog walking and helping with luggage/guest needs.

If you are competent and enjoy painting, plastering, carpentry, minor electrical work, hammering and hanging,
If you like to show initiative and see work that needs to be done,
If you enjoy being with people and have a positive attitude

Then you could be the person to join us here at The Views Guesthouse.

Requirements:


Good organisational and execution skills, good communicator, confident with being around local and international guests, business people as well as families.

Maintain a positive attitude at all times, especially when under pressure. Ability to work on your own or in a team.
Good communication skills

Working times as from 8:00

Any 3 full working days from Monday - Thursday is preferred

Benefits:

4 weeks fully paid holiday
100% UIF contribution by employer

Part-time hours: 24 per week

Salary:
R2,880.00 per month
