REQUIRED LEARNING

  • Minimum N4 N6 Electrician Qualification
  • Red Seal Trade Tested Electrician
  • Wiremans License (Registered with the Department of Labour as Installation Electrician)
  • Registered to legally issue COCs (Certificate of Compliance) (Advantageous)

REQUIREMENTS

  • Own Vehicle & Valid SA drivers license (advantageous)
  • Will be required to travel to remote sites with the Electrician in and around Western Cape
  • At least 2 5 years years experience as an assistant maintenance electrician
  • Working standby, weekends and overtime when necessary

KEY JOB OUTPUTS

(but not limited to the below)

  • Travelling to remote sites in and around Western Cape
  • Attending to fault finding
  • Attending in general to building electrical problems, fault finding and changes
  • Responsible for assistance on maintenance on all distribution boards, electrical equipment & power factors
  • Carrying out planned maintenance
  • Ensuring inspections
  • Responsible for safety checks
  • Responsible for earth leakage inspections
  • Complying with safety and housekeeping rules & requirements
  • Liaising with relevant internal customers/suppliers
