Requirements:

Teaching qualification is essential.
Minimum of 10 years' teaching experience.
Fluent in both Afrikaans and English, with excellent communication skills.

Availability to work Monday to Friday from 08h00 to 17h00, with flexibility for overtime before and after regular office hours and during school holidays.

Goal-oriented, patient, and enthusiastic about working with learners.
Proficient in crisis management.
Valid driver's license with PDP (code 8) and own transport.

Responsibilities:

Daily management of staff, driver, tutors, and learners.
Procurement of learners' stationery, school clothes, sports equipment, and assignment materials.
Management of the D6 programme and communication between school and parents.
Organisation of extracurricular activities, including entrepreneurial days, sports events, and camps.
Handling social issues affecting learners, seeking external support as necessary.
Collaboration with schoolteachers to discuss learners' progress.
Transportation of learners to extramural activities using own vehicle.
Maintaining positive relationships with learners' parents and providing necessary support.
General maintenance of the aftercare centre.
Management of the centre's business plan and budget.
