Duties and Responsibilities:

Draft a sales / marketing strategy for the different markets in conjunction with the Commercial team that will include a specific customer strategy.
Responsible for the marketing and procurement of fruit (all commodities for export market)
Ensure that sales prices and market conditions are communicated on a regular basis which might include direct grower communication.
Building and Maintain strong relationships with clients
Manage the supply and demand plan between the customer and grower
Communicate the packaging requirements
Control stock (inventory) age and ensure fruit is sold within agreed guidelines.
Manage the supplier agreements
Claim management of allocated customers according to policy guidelines to minimize any losses.
Financial management of accounts in conjunction with finance including trade within defined credit limits and timeous payment by customer within defined payment terms.

Minimum Requirements:

Matric with relevant tertiary qualification specializing in marketing, commerce or agriculture.
Previous experience in the fruit industry as marketer/trader/buyer
Strong administration skills
Strong communication skills
Computer literate
Strong excel skills
Strong negotiations skills
Background knowledge of product flow
Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Salary:
a Market related salary with provident fund and medical aid contribution
