Job description

  • Implement transportation health and safety, and security programs and activities.
  • Participate in incidents investigations to determine causes and recommend corrective actions.
  • Remain current with latest transportation technology systems and procedures
  • Ensuring drivers complies with all transport policies, legislation and procedures.
  • Drivers stick to the route defined by ANAX LOGISTICS and report any deviations to management.
  • Monitor driving speed, driving time, routes and rest stops of drivers.
  • Track traffic conditions and advise BVOs when they are at their rest stops.
  • Capture BVO duty and driving times.
  • Review all tracking reports and tachograph and feedback to fleet controller, contract manager, operations manager and Driver trainer.
  • Attend driver safety meetings, tool box talk and quarterly HSSE committee meetings.

  • Familiar with Mix telematics systems and reports

  • Ability to work with people at various levels from shop floor to senior management
