Job Title: Assessor & Moderator - Aircon & Refrigeration Trade

• Duties and Responsibilities:
• Remove outdated HVAC equipment for new installations.
• Install pipe and duct systems.
• Interpret wiring diagrams.
• Comprehend refrigeration cycles and technical data.
• Perform intricate diagnostics, repairs, and replacements.
• Stay updated on the latest HVAC/R technologies and sustainable practices.
• Develop teaching materials and define learning outcomes.
• Evaluate and oversee student performance.
• Offer assistance to students.
• Manage administrative duties.
• Support learners/employees in grasping the materials.
• Generate and maintain training reports.
• Adjust equipment and adhere to technical manuals.

Qualifications:

• Diploma in HVAC/R.
• Industrial refrigeration mechanic red seal certification.
• Assessor and Moderator certification (NQF Level 4).

Work Experience:

• At least 3 years in the HVACR industry.
• Experience in gas handling.
• Skilled in servicing various systems.
• Background in leadership, facilitation, and assessment.
• Familiarity with legislative and quality assurance standards.
