Brookdale Estate in Paarl is a sprawling country estate, crowned by a Manor House which overlooks manicured, indigenous gardens, wild fynbos, dipping valleys and towering hills.

The Estate is also home to a newly-built Bistro, Wine Tasting Room and a state-of-the-art Wine Cellar.

The Manor House at Brookdale Estate is seeking to hire a Butler.

Responsibilities

  • Meet guests when they arrive and get them settled in their rooms
  • Anticipate guests' needs by learning their preferences, allergies, dislikes, etc.
  • Have a thorough understanding of all spirits and specialty foods in stock
  • Assess and restock wine and spirit collections as necessary
  • Keeping to par levels for beverage and room amenities
  • Serve meals and pour drinks for guests
  • Assist in table setup
  • Communicate all relevant information to management
  • Tiding pool house and gym
  • Ensure guests' rooms are clean to standard as per arrival time
  • Ensuring all amenities are in the suite
  • Reporting breakages
  • Checking rooms after departing that all is in order

Ability to commute/relocate:
