The Key Responsibilities for this Role Include

  • Safety Management along with Fire Management
  • Consulting with Management, developing the risk management policy for the Group
  • Develop and roll out risk management methodologies
  • Group risk frameworks
  • Ensure everything is inline with ISO 31000 guidelines
  • Insurance Audits
  • Ensure Permits are in place
  • Investigations into incidents and remedial measurements
  • Change Management, Project Management and System Implementations

Qualification

  • Degree in Risk Management, Operations, or related field
  • SAMTRAC Certification
  • Relevant ISO Certification
  • Project Management Certification (advantageous)

Experience

  • 5+ years' experience as a senior Safety Manager within a Warehouse / Plant environment
  • Must be able to manage multiple sites
  • Risk Management, SHEQ / OHS exposure
  • Internal audit experience
  • Fire Protection / Fire Risk experience
  • Experience with insurance and claims / Insurance audits
  • Warehouse and Operations Management
  • Must be willing to travel nationally and engage with various sites
