Description The Night Auditor checks front office accounting records for accuracy and on a daily basis summarizes and compiles information for the hotels financial records.

The Night Auditor tracks room revenue, occupancy percentages and other front office operating statistics.

In addition, the incumbent will prepare a summary of cash, cheque and credit card activities, reflecting the hotel's financial performance for the day.

They post room charges and room taxes to guest accounts including guest transactions not posted during the day by the front office cashier.

MatricHospitality Qualification or Similar2 – 3 years previous experience as a night auditorStrong aptitude for numbers, spreadsheets and financial reportsWell versed in an HMS system (Protel/Mews advantageous)Ability to work as part of a team, as well as independentlyEffective communication with members of staff as well as Guests of the HotelHonest and trustworthy beyond approachGreat attention to detailPresentable and well spokenProactive in approachInterpersonal skillsPlease note that relocation costs will be for your own expense should your application be successful and you reside outside of the city where the Hotel is located.
