Reservations Agent

Role Purpose

As a reservations agent at African Xplora, your focus will be on understanding customer needs, delivering excellent service and ensuring fairness and integrity in all customer interactions.

This approach drives our goal of boosting business profitability.

Key Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for guests, travel agents and tour operators worldwide
• Preparation of tailormade offers, itineraries and travel documents and administrative processing
• Sending client invoices, quotations and confirmations and responding to any questions
• Communicate with suppliers regarding client bookings
• Accurately make bookings on booking portals for clients
• Active crossselling of our other services for travel enquiries
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with travel agents and tour operators
• Attend site inspections, seminars or industry events
• Manage general administrative duties

Minimum Requirements

• 1+ years' experience in a similar role
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Familiar with OTA platforms such as Airbnb, Viator and Activitar
• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and maintain a sense of urgency
• Able to work unmonitored independently and within a team
• A genuine passion for creating memorable guest experiences

Office Location:
Milnerton, Cape Town, South Africa

Working Hours:
Monday - Friday, 08:00 - 17:00 (willingness to work flexible hours if needed)
