POSITION:
Despatch Clerk



DEPARTMENT:
Operations
An exciting opportunity has become available in the Pepkor Installations business.

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
To ensure accurate despatching of stock out of the warehouse.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure all orders are correctly labelled and despatched
  • Report issues with regards to quality, picking & packing inaccuracies to warehouse manager
  • Manage courier queries
  • Provide feedback to warehouse manager on shorts
  • Assist in accurate stock counts
  • Liaise with couriers

JOB INCUMBENT REQUIREMENTS

  • Grade 1
  • Minimum 3 years working within warehouse environment
  • Experience in working a team
  • Strong organisational skills, ability to juggle various tasks and prioritise
  • Strong administrative skills
  • Ability to work in a pressurised environment
  • Willingness to work late when dealing with late deliveries
  • Computer Literacy: G-Suite / MS Office Intermediate Level
  • Competencies required**:Problem solving; planning, organising and control ; attention to detail; stress tolerance; & communication
