Provide financial analysis and comments on Africa performanceConsolidate weekly sales performance for the regionAssist in monthly reporting and consolidation of performance for the regionEnsure accuracy and timeliness of monthly reportingEnsure conformity to group reporting requirements, accounting standards and regional guidelinesEnsure relevance of monthly and quarterly forecasts considering current trendsParticipate in planning the annual budgeting processReview the annual budgets proposed by subsidiaries and highlight main concerns and assumptionsPrepare Business Plan for new opportunities in AfricaEvaluate and challenge business plan submitted by subsidiariesResponsible to prepare and review Investments performance versus initial business planSupport to conduct periodic compliance reviews for AfricaEnsure the adequacy of financial procedures and controls within the local subsidiariesEvaluate the internal controls from subsidiaries and identify the key areas that need to be controlled and improvedExperience and Qualifications:A degree in Accountancy or Finance from a recognized universityWith at least 3-5 years of relevant work experience, preferably with regional exposureExperience in the media industry will be an added advantageYou are highly meticulous with developed analytical skills, hands-on, positive attitude and a team player.
