Position Overview
Based at Chipkins Puratos East London, to further strengthen our local technical team, we are currently seeking a:

Junior Baker - (East London_, South Africa_)

• Baking and working closely with the Technical Advisor team

Key Accountabilities

• Bake all products with excellence.
• Assist Technical Advisors on our products.
• Present finished goods
• Sleep away from home when required by the National Technical Advisor.
• Work with the Sales team to build and grow the business.
• Create new innovative products from existing products.
• Perform under pressure during shows, presentations, and store openings.
• Calculate costings with technical advisors.

Profile

• Grade 1
• Driver's License is not essential for this position but required in future for promotions within the Technical Department.
• Experience: Minimum of Two (2) years required as Student from Chipkins Puratos Bakery School; must be a Matriculated individual and selected by the School Principal to participate in a Yes Programme.
• Languages: English is a prerequisite; additional language(s) an advantage.
• Computer literacy: Office computer (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word) will be an advantage.
• Other expertise: Business & result driven, strong presentation skills, strong interpersonal skills, team player, creative, innovative.
