Transport Planner

- Plan and coordinate product distribution activities for each customer.
- Assist with risk assessment and mitigation.
- Project support for conversions to the TMS system, including training for service providers.
- Take, confirm and track orders via the TMS.
- Ensure vendors are following proper protocol and compliant with all transportation and security requirements based on predefined criteria
- Assist and help implement process improvement opportunities.
- Compile reports, summarized data for internal teams and external vendors.
- Responsible for understanding and complying with applicable quality, environmental and safety regulatory consideration.
Qualifications & Experience:
- A National Diploma or Degree in Logistics/Supply Chain
- At least 36 years' experience in Logistics
- Understanding all of areas of the supply chain
- Understanding of transport operational systems
- SAP experience strongly preferred
