As a Laboratory Trainee, you will play an integral role in the continued success of our analytical laboratories. Your primary responsibility will be to test the RO Water supply in 2 plants within the factory.

In addition, You will have responsibility to perform testing for raw materials and/or finished product and/or Stability product testing according to material specifications.

You will also perform instrument verifications to ensure that instrumentation performance is in line with laboratory policies and procedures.

This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career, these responsibilities include some of the following:

  • Conduct routine analytical/microbiological testing of raw materials, packaging materials, finished products and environmental samples using approved methods and various instrumentation while adhering to cGMP and established policies.
  • Assist in analytical/microbiological method development, validation, revision and transfer including automated methods.
  • Interpret validity of own test data and generate accurate results.
  • Evaluation and interpret results of analytical/microbiological testing performed by others.
  • Support all aspects of laboratory investigations.
  • Assist in basic technical writing such as specifications, laboratory work sheets, standard operating procedures and technical reports.
  • Troubleshoot test methods and laboratory instrumentation.
  • Provide technical support by executing protocols and evaluating results for nonroutine testing.
  • Independently organize daily work activities and those of other staff, as needed.
  • Conduct training of laboratory personnel on methods, instrumentation and computer systems.
  • Participate in interdepartmental project teams or committees.
  • Perform key tasks related to Stability testing such as pulling, labelling and placing samples into incubators.

To enable you to perform in this future talent opportunity:

Education required:

  • In the process of working towards a Bachelor's Degree / National Diploma or equivalent (at least 2 years completed)
  • Experience using instruments such as HPLC / GC / pH Meter / Conductivity Meter / UV-Vis Spectrophotometer is advantageous
  • Sound pipetting / titration / solution prep /weighing technique is

Preferred Qualifications:

National Diploma / BTech / Bachelors Degree in Analytical Chemistry or equivalent

Language required:
Written and spoken fluency in English
