La Vie Care is a private group of Sub-Acute and Rehabilitation hospitals, and Frail Care facilities based in Gauteng. We are looking for a registered Social Worker to assist us at Country Life Retirement Village in Benoni.

Minimum Requirements

  • 510 years' experience in a leading role in a ward.
  • Must be registered with the relevant authorities.
  • Must perform all duties required in the scope of practice for a Social Worker.
  • Must have knowledge of the Older Persons Act
Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in evaluations of potential residents at Country Life Retirement Village
  • Work with multidisciplinary team.
  • Look after the social and mental health of the residents of Country Life Retirement Village.
  • Patient care and counselling.
  • Prioritize patient needs and care.
  • Comply with all company policies, procedures and internal control.

Requirements:

  • Registered with the Department Social Development
  • Must perform all duties required in the scope of practice for a Social Worker.
  • Must have knowledge of the Older Persons Act
Able to manage staff

Pay:
R18 000,00 - R21 000,00 per month
