Global Strategy and Management Consulting Firm is offering this lucrative career opportunity within their growing and dynamic team of professionals.

You will need to support delivery of the transport portfolio of work, including institutional, policy, organisational, strategy, business advisory and implementation work in this sector.


Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Conducting literature reviews, summarizing material, synthesizing information, analysing content and data, and bringing added value and insight to the information collated
  • Drafting reports and other forms of documentation for clients and partners
  • Preparing presentations to capture key findings, project outcomes, and / or project approach.
  • Supporting the broader practice as a resource by conducting research, analysis, report writing, or other assistance on projects not related to specialist area if the need arises.
  • Assisting with project coordination, project logistics and administration
  • Participating in and contributing to clientmeetings
  • Assisting with, contributing to, and taking ownership of project deliverables or components of deliverables
  • Sound analysis and structuring of a deliverable.
  • Contribute to proposal development.

Qualification & Experience required:

Relevant degree:PPE/Economics/Law/Urban Studies or similar with preference for an analytical field**:


  • Must have a proven track-record of academic excellence
-
Transport and consulting background.
-
Minimum 3-5 years of work experience, preferably in one of the following sectors: Finance, Management and / or Strategy Consulting, Engineering, Transport and / or Government:


  • Proven and strong MS Excel and data savvy skills are essential:
  • Good exposure to research, analysis, synthesis and problemsolving
  • Understanding of, or previous exposure to
    business planning, financial analysis and / or financial modelling is an added advantage.
  • Good exposure to research, analysis, synthesis and problemsolving
  • Must demonstrate strong numeracy capabilities
  • Must be able to think logically and independently.
  • Must demonstrate or have a track record of leadership or entrepreneurial aptitude.
  • Must have interdisciplinary interests and skills.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Multiple South African languages added advantage
