Education and experience:

  • Qualified Diesel Mechanic.
  • Experience on trailers and taillights.


 Valid Code 1
  • Experience at supervisor level.


 Computer literate
  • MS office.

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Develop and maintain a sound relationship with suppliers.
  • Manpower utilization.
  • Need to be able to work shifts.
  • Medical fit.

Job specification - Key Performance areas:

  • Oversee and implement the fleet maintenance.
  • Manage stock levels and the purchase and replacement parts and equipment.
  • Manage performance of a shift or skilled and semiskilled artisans.
  • Ensure successful implementation, monitor and management of SHEQ PROCEUDERES.
  • Attend to breakdowns and implement maintenance schedules.
  • Ensure housekeeping is to standard.
  • Monthly toolbox talks.
  • Monthly inspection of all workshop tools and technician tools.
  • Ensure load testing is done annually.
  • Load testing of all workshop tools.
  • Ensure timesheets and attendance registers is up to date daily.
  • Quality inspections daily.
  • Manage job cards and submit for closing of job cards.

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent

Salary:
R20, R30,000.00 per month
