Who are we? Sanlam Group Technology is responsible for the provision of a digitally enabled technology service as a group COE, drive business and transformation and provide group-wide digital and data architecture.

We operate the various technology platforms and shared services, ensure Cyber and Information Security resilience, and act as technology governance and risk orchestrator for technology across Sanlam.

The successful candidate will be responsible for manual and test automation services within the

SGT:
Test Centre of Excellence.

What will make you successful in this role?Perform:Test scheduling and execution with all test cycles (Local, Feature, Master, UAT, BRT) and mark off results.

Test defect reporting and logging.
Regression testing.
Identify, define and design manual/automated testsReporting based upon coverage and clearance statistics.
Documentation compilation. Identify and report test related errors, issues and risks.
Liaise with Product Owners, test analysts, business analysts and developers on errors, issues and risks.
Identify and prepare Test Data.
QualificationGrade 12
ISTQB would be advantageous

Experience:

A minimum of - 3 years experience in testing within a solution design division will be a strong recommendation.

Financial services testing experience is required.
Test Automation (BDD's, UI Atomics)

Knowledge:
Understanding of system architectures such as Client / Server, Services Orientated Architecture, Web based architecture.
Know and understand all forms of testing.
Understand Agile Software Development
SQL database knowledge would be advantageous.
Knowledge of Sanlam transactions (Epsilon or Sentrix) will be advantageous.
Working knowledge of testing best practices and frameworks.
Knowledge of one or more of the following Sanlam systems will be advantageous:
SentrixExit transactions (e.g.
Surrenders, Retirements, Partial Withdrawals, Lapses) Kofax Content Manager and AvayaQuicklySignPersonal Attributes Collaborates - Contributing independently
