Our client is looking for a Debtors Risk Manager who will be responsible for the management of developing and implementing a comprehensive and effective credit risk management framework.


Responsibilities:

  • Developing analytical methodology, tools, processes and control frameworks to assess credit risk
  • Managing credit risk reporting and dashboard development
  • Forecasting credit risk across portfolios, considering emerging risks and changes in external conditions
  • Leading monthly/weekly risk meeting, presenting portfolio overviews and promoting discussions on current focus areas
  • Building strong relationships with Sales and Product with the support of quantitative facts, to identify and implement opportunities for greater efficiencies and risk controls
  • Maintaining uptodate knowledge of industry developments and ensure best practices are applied where applicable
  • Communication with credit insurance to obtain sufficient coverage on current customers.
  • Evaluate the overall portfolio risk and client exposure
  • Perform overall portfolio analysis.
  • You will be meeting daily and monthly deadlines that include sending invoices and statements to customers, duties relating to collecting from debtors, and credit control.
  • You will be doing Master file maintenance, as well as all other admin tasks including the handling of relevant queries from internal and external customers and clients.

Qualifications:

  • Strong Managerial Experience
  • Financial and / or Retail Credit experience advantageous
  • A minimum of a Matric with university entrance.
  • A degree or diploma will be advantageous.
  • 57 Years work experience in similar field
