TRAINEE MECHANIC _

The requirements are as follows:

  • Grade 1
  • Mechanical knowledge and skill
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Good numeric and literacy skills
  • Able to work in a team environment
  • Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Must be self motivated and willing to learn
  • Must be of good physical health

Daily tasks will include but will not be limited to:

  • Fault finding and proactively repairing machinery.
  • Conducting preventative maintenance.
  • Stripping off machine parts.
  • Replace faulty motors.
  • Cleaning and replacing of production parts.
  • Order parts and consumables for cleaning purposes.
  • Cut and prepare screens for extruding machines.
  • Adherence to organization safety rules and regulations.
  • Adherence to organization health and safety rules and regulations.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized work area.
  • Assist with general operations when needed.

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent

Pay:
R5 000,00 - R7 000,00 per month

Education:

  • High School (matric) (required)

Experience:

  • Mechanical: 1 year (preferred)

Language:

  • English (required)
