Who we're looking for
Yuppiechef is looking for a Junior IT Technician who is passionate about technology and loves to solve technical puzzles.

You have a great eye for detail, a passion for problem-solving and the fact that you are a tech enthusiast goes without saying.

You are familiar with operating systems such as Windows, macOS, and mobile platforms. You have a basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP). You pride yourself on your strong communication skills and your ability to collaborate thanks to your developed interpersonal skills. You have an eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

What your role looks like


As a Junior IT Technician at Yuppiechef, you'll play a vital role in supporting our growing community of employees and other internal stakeholders.

Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure, both internally and externally.

From troubleshooting technical issues to assisting with hardware and software setups, you'll be at the forefront of resolving IT challenges.


Who you are

  • You have at least 2 years of experience as a helpdesk technician or field services agent
  • You have a relevant technical qualification
  • You are a self driven team player who takes pride in your work
  • You have experience working in a similar environment
  • Extremely organised with strong time management skills
  • Experience in building and nurturing relationships
  • Exposure to working with various stakeholders
  • You will need strong communication and interpersonal skills

What you will be responsible for

  • Respond to IT support tickets promptly and professionally, delivering efficient solutions to endusers.
  • Assisting with the setup of employee workstations
  • Assist with hardware and software installations, configurations, and updates.
  • Troubleshoot network connectivity, system performance, and other ITrelated problems.
  • Collaborate with the IT team to implement best practices and security protocols.
  • Educate and guide users on ITrelated matters to enhance their overall experience.
