PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:


To perform the overall operations within the Cold Meat Counter department by implementing the required standards and providing excellent customer service for the profitability of the Deli.


QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCES:

  • Must have at least 3 years' experience working in a Deli environment in a similar role
  • Knowledge and skills required to provide excellent customer services

KEY ACOUNTABILITIES:

  • Prepare and timeously present all specialities and display in an attractive manner.
  • Keep the display fridges, store rooms and coldrooms in an orderly manner on a daily basis
  • Check the price change register to confirm whether prices have not changed.
  • Render a speedy and effective service to customers as required by operations.
  • Gain continuous knowledge of products.
  • Maintain housekeeping and food safety standards.
  • Attend stock takes as scheduled

SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES:

  • Excellent Communication & Interpersonal skills
  • Must have the ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to work in a team
