Package & Remuneration based on knowledge and experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with preparing managing accounts receivable and accounts payable functions (Debtors & Creditors)
- Assist with preparation of monthly financial reports, including company specific reports, Income Statements and Cash Flow Statements
- All other associated tasks up to trial balance
- Maintain the trial balance by reconciling general ledgers
- Help maintain accurate financial records and documentation
- Collaborate with the accounts team to improve financial processes and systems and provide support
- General administrative duties
Experience and Skills Required:
- Experience using Sage Pastel Partner or similar accounting software packages
- Advanced Microsoft Office Skills (Excel)
- Relevant tertiary qualification in bookkeeping, finance, or related field (Advantageous)
- Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role
- Knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles and practices
- HR & Payroll knowledge / experience advantageous (VIP Classic Payroll)
- Ability to perform accurately and timeously under pressure and able to work to deadlines
- High attention to detail
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to follow instruction and complete tasks successfully
- Be flexible to take on additional responsibilities as per business requirements
- Must be selfmotivated
- Own Transport
Salary:
From R10,000.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Brakpan, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
