The company is one of the leading manufacturers of specialised 'critical to operating' and recurring consumable products for the global mineral beneficiation, mining and bulk solids handling industry.

The company is the second largest producer of polymer-based mill liners, which are critical components in driving efficiency and lowering cost per ton of operation.

It has manufacturing facilities in India, South Africa, Australia and Chile, and exports its products and solutions to over 70 countries.

About the Role

Responsibilities:

  • Receive all invoices, and credit notes from both trade and sundry creditors.
  • Capturing of the sundry tax invoices, and credit notes using the correct general ledger allocation codes on the SAP system.
  • To prepare the monthly creditors recons for monthend vendor payments, including discount creditors.
  • Follow up and resolve all suppliers' queries and keep the accounts up to date.
  • Prepare cods recons on a weekly basis and ensure that payments are made on time.
  • To prepare intercompany recons, and other foreign suppliers' recons, and ensure that all paperwork required by the bank to process foreign payments is in order.
  • To ensure proper record keeping of all suppliers' invoices, statements, and recons, and be able to support the external Auditors with required supporting documents during audits.
  • To keep and update the schedule of suppliers advance payments and note the status report for jobs that the advance payments relate to ensure timeously clearing of advances.
  • When required, attend to the company's stock takes on a regular basis.
  • Any other adhoc financerelated duties.
  • Grade 12 and/ or National Higher Certificate, or National diploma in financial qualification
  • Minimum of 2 years of creditor control experience
  • Experience in the SAP accounting package will be an added advantage.
  • Computer literacy in MS Office Excel, Word and Outlook.
  • Attention to detail and being able to meet deadlines, especially for discount creditor payments.

Salary:
R25 000,00 - R30 000,00 per month
