Requirements and skills

  • Previous experience as a Training Facilitator/Assesor or similar role
  • Handson experience with Learning Management Software (LMS)
  • Knowledge of traditional and modern educational techniques
  • Ability to complete full training cycle (assess needs, plan, develop, coordinate, monitor and evaluate)
  • Familiarity with Talent Management and career paths
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • 5 years working experience
  • QCTO registered
  • Occupational certificate fire fighter 98991

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Teaching the learner principles of fire fighting
  • Carrying out training of containing and extinguishing different type fires by operating firefighting equipment
  • Establishing a psychologically safe environment for sharing.
  • Creating focus amongst the group.
  • Selecting accompanying test materials.
  • Encouraging respect for ideas voiced during facilitation.
  • Steering conversations about the learning material.
  • Extracting varied insights from participants.
  • Administering and reviewing progress on assessments.
